Little Red Riding Hood

Happy Halloween!

Every year at Halloween our girls get excited about what they will wear for their Halloween costume and the school parade. We have been: Cowgirls, Worn Poodle Skirts, A scary Lion, A Scarecrow, Cinderella, Been an Egyptian, A Bride, and a Princess but this year Denae decided to be Little Red Riding Hood.
This is a friend ,Cassie, that rides the bus every morning with Denae.
(I think they both look adorable)
I am very sad to think this will be the last year our girls will be part of the parade.

Chicken and Noodles

Don't you just love your crock pot. We were busy all day. I threw in some frozen chicken breasts this morning and then one hour before dinner, Denae put in the seasoning packet and noodles!

Neewollah Band Festival

This past Saturday, Denae and I spent the day with Darci at Independence, Kansas for the Marching Festival. It was a fun time watching 20 plus bands March and cheering big sister on with her flute. Darci's band won 1st in their division and 2nd in state.

I cheered and cried as they marched with such precision and heart. It is always exciting to see your children become part of a winning team.
