Sweet Melissa North Fork Peach Raspberry Pie

Happy Fourth of July!

Hope you have a fun day celebrating with friends and family.

This weeks Sweet Melissa Recipe was a Fruit Pie, I knew that I was all in.

Fresh Georia Peaches and Raspberries from the Farmers Market

I talked Denae into helping me peal and slice them

I didn't make the SMS pie crust.

Instead I made an old stand by that I love.

Simple

Only difference is no butter and it is usually to die for.

The fruit cut up with a zest of a lemon , sugar and cornstarch.

The recipe called for Tapioca , I didn't have it and really didn't miss it either.

It was beautiful

And delicious!

Thanks Rebecca of Beurrista for choosing this pie.

It was a perfect choice for the day.
