This weeks Sweet Melissa Recipe is Bear's Peach Cobbler
and was chosen by Andrea of Nummy Kitchen.
I had waited to bake this until Sunday so I am a little late posting
but my girls have been gone to church camp and knew that Darci, my oldest,
especially would love the peach cobbler.
After a week of camp food she wanted something good to eat and this was a hit.
The fresh peaches were delicious.
I took every ones advise and only added 1/2 cup sugar and it was perfect.
I think 1/4 cup would not have been enough.

That looks delicious. I would have made the trip over for a big bowl full.
Oh there it is! Did you add all the sugar it asked for? I thought it was way to much sugar. It was good though.
I love cobblers with ice cream but we were out so whipped cream is the next best thing.
Ha ha after I wrote that comment about the sugar I read your comment on my blog. Good job in reducing the sugar..between the lemon and the sugar it made my lips pucker!
Your cobbler looks delicious! My family loved it, too.
Great looking cobbler! I wish I'd reduced the sugar in mine a bit as it was definitely a bit sweet. I served with vanilla ice cream too and thought it was the perfect accompaniment :)
Delicious & easy, indeed.
Looks yummy and glad you enjoyed the cobbler.
Hi Debbie!
Your cobbler came out lovely- you got a lot of biscuits out of the dough, definitely a few more than me! I'm glad your family enjoyed it- mine did too! This is my first visit to your site, and the look is so unique... reminds me of a virtual scrapbook- great work!
I wanted to introduce myself- my name is Joy and I'm a brand new blogger and SMS baker. I'd love for you to check out my site, and I look forward to getting to know you better during future weekly posts! :)
I love the pretty, rosy color of your cobbler! Great job!
