Mom's Banana Apple Bread

Today's Sweet Melissa Recipe is Mom's Banana Apple Bread
chosen by Joy of Hot Oven, Warm Heart, http://hotovenwarmheart.wordpress.com/
You should go over and check out her blog for beautiful food. It's amazing.
You first saute the apples in butter, brown sugar and cinnamon and vanilla.
Let them set aside to cool.
You make the batter and then add in a 1/4 cup of orange juice.
1 1/4 cup mashed bananas
Then you stir in the apple mixture.

I was nervous as to how this would come out but I was not disappointed.
It was delicious.
Those big chunks of apples made the bread so moist and added such a nice flavor to the bread.

This is a bread I will make again.
Thanks Joy for choosing.

I thought the apples were different as well but made the bread even better.

Hi Debbie!

Thank you so much for baking along with me this week! I’m really glad to hear you enjoyed the recipe! I’m sorry I didn’t have a chance to stop by and comment sooner- I’ve been really under the weather for the past two weeks, so unfortunately I haven’t been on the computer too much… but I’m glad I had the chance to read your lovely post. Thanks for the very sweet shout out- I'm a big fan of your beautiful blog as well :) Your loaf came out absolutely perfect- fantastic job!

I hope you’re doing well- have a great rest of your week! Hope to hear from you soon!

Joy

Thank you for your comment..I am slowly getting the rug dried out. The guy is coming today to measure for the pad. I think we got the issue outside solved..it was a clogged drain spout..ahhh this little thing caused all this mess. My daughter is being a good sport, having to sleep in another room and having her room all torn up. Next house=no basement!
