This weeks Sweet Melissa Recipe is Perfect Pound Cake and was chosen by Michelle of Veggie NumNums.This was a very easy cake to make and wasn't overwhelming but fresh and light. My family did think it was a bit dry but they still enjoyed it. I served it with fresh strawberries and whipped topping.

WOw score on the starbucks..I have never won anything on these blogs!! I was bummed the cake was so dry. I guess after reading Melissas comment about the recipe in her book, I was ready for something really special. Oh well you win some and lose some! Your cake looks good. I ended up taking it to the church pot luck today and smothering it with some choke cherry jelly. It was good!
