Thankful!

I have been reading lots of Thankful posts since November 1st and I didn't want to be left out.

I can't even begin to say how grateful I am for my life, my family, and this life the Lord

 is allowing me to live everyday.

Right Now I am thankful for my girls...

This was Darci's first day of Vet Tech school.

The Lord has also given her a job at a Vet Office as a Vet Assistant.

This has increased  her excitement about school and about what she is learning.

(Minus the one day she came home with 2 kittens, it has been a good thing for her.)

Denae is a cheerleader and she loves it!

I have seen God do an amazing work in her life this year.

Not that she is the best cheerleader but how she has taken disappointments 

and is using them to grow!

Denae is afraid of her shadow but somehow loves to stand in a crowd and yell.

She has this huge fear of tumbling without a spotter but  has not given up working on it.

Last night there was some girl drama, (you know the teenager, cheerleader kind)

she was implicated in the whole thing but had proof that she wasn't involved.

So she got on the phone and made 3 very important phone calls and confronted the issues

and I couldn't have been prouder.

This weekend was DeAnn's last Band performance.

Her team was one of 10 teams to make it to the ISSMA State Finals and they placed 9th.

We could not have been prouder of them and the way they performed.

At the end of the day, she stood up and Thanked her teacher in front of everybody. 

Her dad and I sat there

amazed at the young lady she has become.

Our life is not perfect but I am so grateful!
