Word of the Year

On December 29th our cousins from Alaska were here for a visit.

 We talked about picking a word to guide our year,

 I had already been thinking about it from reading all the blogs.

 It was a great way to get everyone talking and find out where they were at. 

I picked "Gentle".

Actually Denae suggested it and I thought it was perfect.

So I have made it a goal of mine for 2013.

To be gentle with my words, in the way i deal with others

I am so excited that I am starting a mentoring relationship

with a much younger lady and I want to be Gentle in the way I care for her heart.

Gentle with my husband....

Gentle with my girls....

Gentle with my patients....

Gentle is a fruit of the spirit and I want to embrace this as a goal for the year.
