Special Friends

These are my "Mom's In Touch" friends, Lynn and Kim .

We meet every Tuesday and pray for our kids, their teachers and schools!

We also pray for each other, like when Lynn came and prayed for me before my Cardiac Ablation several years ago and we fervently prayed for her husband Steve a week ago when he had a new pacemaker and defibrillator placed. They are both very special too me.

This week we prayed over our children the verse in Jeremiah 17:7-8.

Blessed is ___ who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.

I pray that ___would be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream...never failing to bear fruit!

It made me think of this second group of women.
Lillian, Ellen, Bonnie and along side me is Melonie and Trish.

This week we met to celebrate Bonnie's birthday!

These are Older women that have deep roots in my life.

These are women that trust in Him , are planted by His water,

have deep roots and are bearing fruit!

Women that I love dearly!

I am so grateful to have two sets of women in my life.

The first share my same concerns as we are walking the same path each day with our kids.

We are in the same stages of life, our kids have the same teachers, we have the same worries,like will our kids make good choices, will they remain true to Him?

The second can see it all from a different perspective.

They have already been here and can offer great advice and give encouragement.

I am so blessed to have so many great women in my life!
