An Act of Love

Our Church has a dream.
A dream to reach children and youth for the cause of Christ.
It is our dream to "love on and teach" children and to bring them to a relationship with Jesus.
This dream was fueled by a sweet group from Indian Springs Baptist Church in Bryant , Arkansas. They came this summer with their ministry team and showed us what they do for their children's ministry. We were inspired!
So we painted our gym , in kid colors and built a 24 foot stage.
Then Indian Springs came this Friday and Saturday to help us build a stage, and train our leaders and now we are excited about our new children's ministry, "Kids Kountry".

There were 55 people that gave 20 hours on Saturday to work.
The men got out the hammers and built a set, under the direction of our fearless leaders , Lisa and Debbi.
They brought 6 teenagers to teach our new praise team , songs and motions.

My sister-in-law Terri loves to write scripts. She taught the drama and helped with the puppet training.

Lisa taught all the Sunday School teachers the new material
and how to make it come alive .

We even got Terri in on the cutting the foam as we built the set.

We all Painted, and Painted and painted some more.....

Then we started putting it together.
A covered wagon, a campfire, cactus and directions as the children of Israel
walk through the desert with Moses.

Thanks to Indian Springs Baptist Church for all their hard work.
